August was set aside for training 20 social workers and 10 community volunteers on the follow-up support curriculum developed.
The training was filled with practicals on “craft and psychotherapy, team building games, HIV/AIDS Education and Leadership training through play and creating caregiver/child memory boxes to enhance relationships. Social workers and volunteers were excited with these hands on based training.
A few exclaimed: “It is healing to our soul; we really get healed ourselves as we get on with the practicum. It will work for the kids.”
